We are pleased to inform you that based on Community feedback, we decided to officially give our clients possibility to downgrade Atavism On-Premises Ultra (Unlimited CCU) license.

Atavism On-Premises Ultra (Unlimited CCU) owners can downgrade license by choosing one of two license variants which we prepared:

1. Atavism On-Premises Professional (3000 CCU) + Atavism On-Premises Standard (100 CCU)
2. Atavism On-Premises Advanced (500 CCU) + Atavism On-Premises Standard (100 CCU)

So generally it can be exchanged for 2 licenses, depending on your choice, but the Standard license is included in both options.

In order to submit such request Atavism On-Premises Ultra (Unlimited CCU) owner should send us an email which should contain:

1. E-mail on which Atavism On-Premises Ultra (Unlimited CCU) license was registered.
2. Atavism On-Premises Ultra (Unlimited CCU) license key.
3. Pack of licenses (1 or 2) to which downgrade should be proceded.

Above information should be sent to downgrade@atavismonline.com.

Such downgrade is permanent and it won't be possible to revert it back.

Downgrade option is a one-time limited offer, it's free and can be done from now on until the end of April 2018.

We have hope that such initiative will let you continue your journey with Atavism and it's development process.

It is possible to increase number of CCU by paying price difference between current Atavism OP version and new preferred Atavism OP version.

To submit such request Atavism On-Premises owner should send us an email which should contain:

1. E-mail on which Atavism On-Premises license was registered.
2. Atavism On-Premises license key.
3. Select new amount of CCU.

CCU is a short name for Concurrent Connected User.

This value tells how many users can be connected to the Atavism server at this same time.

Atavism OP 2018 comes in 4 CCU versions:

• Atavism Starter that offers 100 CCU - it's best for started developing a new game.
• Atavism Advanced that offer 500 CCU - ideal for developers that have finished initial development and need run volume tests, or their game will allow up to 500 concurrent users at this same time.
• Atavism Professional that offer 3000 CCU - this version is best for busy MMO game that more than 90% time need more than 500 concurrent active users.
• Atavism Ultra that offers an Unlimited number of CCU (active users).

If you have Atavism OP Standard (100 CCU) you will need Atavism Standard Maintenance Plans.

If you have Atavism OP Advanced (500 CCU) you will need Atavism Advanced Maintenance Plans.

If you have Atavism OP Professional (3000 CCU) you will need Atavism Professional Maintenance Plans.

If you have Atavism OP Ultra (Unlimited CCU) you will need Atavism Ultra Maintenance Plans.

Each type of licenses has 4 Atavism Maintenance Plans (AMP).

Please keep in mind that the Atavism Maintenance Plan is back covering for skipped time (counted from 27th March 2018 but up to 180 days back), for example, if you are Atavism 2.x. owner and you would like to get access to new versions and you purchase 30 days Atavism Maintenance Plan in 1st April 2018, it will back cover your skipped 5 days and extend access to updates by 25 days.

Atavism Maintenance Plan is a dependant product and can be only assigned to your Atavism On-Premises License to extend its permission to update for the specific period of time. Keep in mind that each Atavism On-Premises License has its specific Atavism Maintenance Plans which are suitable for the license, so to extend your Atavism On-Premises Advanced License you should choose one of the Atavism Advanced Maintenance Plan (30, 90, 180, 365 days) and accordingly for other licenses.

All Atavism On-Premises 2.x licenses were set to have valid Atavism Maintenance Plan on the day of release new Atavism 2018.1, which was 27th March 2018.

If you are Atavism 2.x license owner and you will extend its validation time by assigning Atavism Maintenance Plan to the Atavism On-Premises License, then the number of days for specific Atavism Maintenance Plan will be added to your License but will be counted from 27th March 2018, and it will back cover the time up to 180 days. so if you will extend your Atavism License 30th of March 2018 for 30 days, your License will have rights to updates until 26th April 2018 (30 days since 27 March 2018). The same rule will be applied if you will skip a few months of updates and you will want to continue it after a while. Then the time from your assigned Atavism Maintenance Plan will be consumed accordingly but not more than 180 days, even if you skipped more than that.

All Atavism 2.x License Owners remain their licenses and rights to use Atavism 2.x.

If you are willing to upgrade your Atavism License to new Atavism On-Premises 2018 License then check our Atavism Maintenance Plans which will give you an ability to use new features and get access to upgrades. If you have Atavism 2.x Ultra license then read "What if I would like to downgrade my license" section.f

Each Atavism On-Premises 2018 License includes Atavism Maintenance Plan for 180 days, so each new license has rights to updates within 180 days counted from the day of purchase.

In order to start using Atavism, you have to install server-side Atavism software. You can do that by using various types of installations:

– Using our Atavism Windows Manager available to download from the Customer Portal. Materials about the installation process and requirements can be found here.

– Our premade Virtual Machine (CentOS or Ubuntu depending on your choice) which you can find in your Customer Portal. Installation process tutorial you can find as a text tutorial or video tutorial.

– You can also make installation within your custom Linux and for that part, we also prepared text procedure or video tutorial which will guide you through that process.

1. 100->1000 CCU
2. 500->1500 CCU
3. 3000->5000 CCU
4. Unlimited->15000 CCU
2. Instead of one license per proxy server, you will be able to run an unlimited number of environments and proxy servers on one license up to the CCU limit.
3. There won't be back cover for Maintenance Plan, which means that if you will skip some time you won't have to back cover it up to 180 days like before. Instead, your maintenance will extend your license from the time when it will be applied by the number of days included in the maintenance plan. Maintenance plans 30 and 90 days won't be accessible anymore, and only 180 and 365 days are available for the new licensing model.
4. There is only one Maintenance Plan in the new licensing model independent from CCU number and license, so you can significantly reduce your expenses.
